Every year, Revive Fest is one of those weekends we genuinely look forward to. We have the privilege of setting up, serving great food, listening to incredible music, and worshiping the Lord alongside a community of people gathered together for the same purpose.

This year, though, Revive Fest gave us a few moments we won’t soon forget.

On Friday, we had the incredible honor of providing dinner for KB and his band and crew. While getting the opportunity to meet him and take a photo together was pretty special, what left the biggest impression on us was the person behind the music. His genuine love for Jesus and his desire to live out the Word were just as evident off the stage as they were when he was performing.

Then Saturday brought another unexpected blessing when we were given the opportunity to provide dinner for Building 429 and their crew. Their ministry has long been rooted in the message of Ephesians 4:29—to use our words to encourage, strengthen, and build others up—and being able to serve them while they were at Revive Fest made the weekend even more meaningful.

There’s something special about being on the other side of the stage and getting a glimpse of the people behind the music. These artists and their crews spend countless hours traveling, preparing, performing, and pouring into others. Being trusted to take care of one small piece of their day by simply feeding them is a privilege we don’t take for granted.

But Revive Fest has never been about one artist, one meal, or one moment for us. It’s about the entire weekend—the music, the conversations, the people who stop by the Brewhouse, the familiar faces we see year after year, the new ones we meet, and a community coming together to worship and celebrate Jesus.

We went into the weekend ready to serve food.

We walked away reminded once again that sometimes the greatest blessings come when you’re simply willing to serve.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone at Revive Fest who continues to welcome the Brewhouse back each year and trusts us to be a small part of something so much bigger than ourselves.

Until next year, Revive Fest. ❤️

God is good.
